Why We Switched Our Dog Food to Real Power Pet Food

I know that when it comes to canine nutrition, it can be hard to find products that are safe and effective. I’ve been working with dogs since my University years, and have seen many different fads come and go. It’s my goal to help you find products that will help your dog thrive without having to worry about them being unsafe or ineffective.

I have three dogs at home: Nezuko, Toshiro, and Poppy.

My first dog, Nezuko, was a great companion for both me and my family. She was fun to play with, loyal to us all, and always up for a walk. However, there was one thing that she never really grew out of: she was picky about her food.

At first, it didn’t bother me much — I just assumed that every dog had their preferences when it came to eating. But as time went on and she got older, her pickiness became more and more of an issue because it affected her health in ways that weren’t good for either of us.

The Solution to Nezuko’s Intense Scratching

Nezuko, despite being a picky eater, is also a voracious eater. She could tackle a whole chicken breast just for herself. Despite her small size, she has a very big appetite for food that she truly likes.

One problem I had with her, is she constantly scratches her skin day and night. I already took her to the vet once to assess her for ectoparasites. That problem was already addressed with a few meds. The fleas were gone but the intense scratching remained.

Weeks passed, and we still have the same problem. This is no parasite, I said to myself. I have a keen eye for fleas, ticks, mites, and lice because I have studied these in my undergraduate years in Veterinary Medicine and I could tell if my pup is infested — she is clearly not.

Real Power Saves My Pup’s Diet

When I was surfing the web for better food options, I encountered Real Power through an online ad. I was intrigued because they are marketing their products as “solutions” to specific vet concerns. It was unlike any other one-size-fits-all dog food that I’ve seen in the market.

They had the following products in their shop:

NO. 1 PRAIRIE LAMB

Alleviate dry skin and provide nutrients for unhealthy hair and skin.

I know I had to get her something that is filling her stomach but also has some sort of solution to her developing dermatitis. I decided to get all the items from their store.

Transitioning to Real Power Pet Food

I started by replacing one serving of her old kibble with the Real Power Pet Food №1: Prairie Lamb every day until she got used to the new food.

Weeks passed and I was slowly seeing progress. To my delight, the scratching gradually stopped. She was no longer keeping me up at night.

I am so happy I found this wonderful product! It’s no false advertising at all — their pet food works for skin and hair problems! I’m so glad I took the plunge and tried this product. It’s no false advertising at all — their pet food really works! Nutrition indeed plays a part in keeping our pets’ skin and hair healthy.

Because of that, I have also decided to put Toshiro and Poppy in a new diet with Real Power Pet Food.

My second dog, Toshiro, has had a hard time with his digestive system. His poop is always as hard as a pebble, or wet as mayonnaise — not much in between.

I decided to pay closer attention to his diet and switched him over to Real Power Pet Food №2: Forest Chicken. This pet food helps improve intestinal health, and it’s specially designed for dogs with sensitive digestion! According to the website, it’s based on lean & light fresh chicken, reducing intestinal burden!

I’ve been using Toshiro’s new food for about a month now, and I’m hooked!

After a few months of trying different brands and types, I finally found one that works for him. I finally feel like I have my pup back.

The Real Power Pet Food Holistic Dog Food for All Life Stages (№2 Forest Chicken) is just the right consistency for Toshiro: soft enough to be easy to digest, but not too soft that it feels like he’s eating mush. It also smells great, and he loves it. And most importantly, he seems so much happier with this food than he did with other brands we tried — he’s never been a picky eater, but now he seems more energetic and excited about life in general.

I adopted Poppy a few months ago, and she’s been doing great! She’s an aspin who was being thrown out because her previous owner had too many animals. I was happy to take her in and give her a home.

She has been eating Real Power Pet Food №3: Ocean Salmon as a maintenance food, and it has helped her grow into a healthy pup. She’s also taking advantage of the immune-booster supplements that Real Power offers, and she hasn’t been sick once since we started feeding her these products.
